57 of 60 people found the following review helpful  Poor quality and design, July 23, 2012 This review is from: Britax Kick Mats (2-Pack, Black) (Baby Product) After just a week of use, one of our Britax Kick Mats had a rip at the top pocket seam. The pockets are very poorly placed, since they are located exactly at the level where kids tend to rest their feet. Another issue we had is that the bottom elastic band isn't long enough (or low enough) to reach the bottom of the seat back. In our case (Sienna 2012), it rests in the middle of the seat back, and you can feel it with your back when you sit on the seat. I much prefer the Prince Lionheart Backseat Kick Mat, which leaves the useless pockets, is much more sturdy, and has a flexible velcro strap to secure to the bottom of the seat. Turn them inside out too!, October 18, 2013 This review is from: Britax Kick Mats (2-Pack, Black) (Baby Product) These kick mats work awesome! The main reason I got them was to protect the back of the front seats from the kids kicking them and causing damage. I previously had a 2007 Honda Civic, their kicking caused the back fabric to come undone. With the recently purchased 2011 Honda Odyssey, I promptly ordered these and installed them to protect the seats. I did read the reviews first, two main complains are that the bottom elastic strap is not big enough to go around the seats, and the netting pockets are not strong enough to hold much and will fall apart after getting fatigue from kid use. I kept both of these faults in mind when I installed the kick mats. The lower elastic strap is tight, but if you go very slowly, it will slide over an Odyssey seat and fit quite snugly at that. I just installed 4 of these kick mats in my new 2012 honda odyssey (2 behind the front seats and 2 behind the 2 middle captains chairs) They fit perfectly and the best feature is the top strap, insted of velcro (that never adjusts quite right) it is a clip that adjusts to the exact width you need.
